Dempsey & Baxter has been helping collectors build fantastic collections since 1956. Well known nationwide, the professionals at Dempsey & Baxter are some of the only third generation coin dealers in business today.

The Deal Seeker: Everyone loves a deal, right?

This type of collector is looking to build their collection at minimal cost and willfully sacrifices quality to complete a series. For some collectors, completing the collection is the primary focus, while ensuring every coin is consistent and attractive is secondary and unimportant.

The Top-Drawer Collector: This type of collector typically has a fantastic collection of quality coins that every collector would love to own.

That doesn't mean they are expensive, but it does mean they took extra time and care to build their collection, understanding that premium quality coins often command premium quality prices. These collections tend to perform better long term than Deal Seeker Collections.
